Church of the Ascension 100th Celebrations - Healing Service
The Church of the Ascension is turning 100. To Celebrate this event the parish is holding a combined church service on the 5th of May and a 100th Dinner on Ascension Day the 9th of May. Please join us to celebrate.

About the Event
The service on the 5th is the first event of a week-long celebration.
The Rt. Rev. Richard Treloar will preach and celebrate to comemorate 100 years of the building's exitence.
This event will also be the launch of a week-long mission led by SOMA Australia, that will include a healing service on Wednesday the 8th of May beginning at 6pm. The Rt. Rev. Ian Lambert and his wife Jill will lead the mission throughout the week.
The second major event will be on the 9th of May when we gather for the Ascension Day service and a catered dinner celebrating the actual 100th of the building. Guest Preacher at the service will be Canon Gill Varcoe.
